An American-Palestinian youth after completing a nine-month period in imprisonment by Israel without charge gained freedom.
Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old at the time of his arrest this past winter in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida under suspicion of rock throwing toward Israeli settlers, allegations he repeatedly contested.
United States authorities applauded the teenager's freedom.
Currently aged sixteen, needed medical care upon gaining freedom, relatives told the media.
They said he is showing signs of malnutrition, and is suffering from conditions contracted in captivity.
In a statement, the youth's uncle conveyed their "overwhelming sense of relief".
Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" over the last nine months.
"At this moment, we're concentrating on providing Mohammed with prompt healthcare necessary for his recovery after being subjected to Israel's abuse and inhumane conditions throughout his detention."
US officials announced ongoing to extend consular services for the Ibrahim family.
{"The Trump Administration has no higher priority to the protection and welfare of American nationals"," it added.
A group of American legislators endorsed a document to US authorities and the White House, urging greater action to release him.
Mohammed's parent, a father-of-four who runs an ice cream business from Florida, had earlier stated his son only confessed to throwing stones because the soldiers beat him.
He had not seen or spoken to Mohammed since the arrest, receiving updates exclusively about his son's condition in detention through court documents.
He stayed lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility on the West Bank.
It is also home to adult prisoners, featuring prisoners sentenced of serious terrorism offences including killings.

Several lack formal charges while advocacy organizations, as well as the United Nations, document cases involving physical abuse and torture.
Following Mohammed's release, the uncle stated the family would also continue fighting seeking justice for their relative Sayfollah Musallet.
The 20-year-old dual US citizen per medical officials died from beating by Israeli settlers following tensions last July.
At the time, military authorities reported authorities were looking into accounts of a Palestinian had been killed.
Mohammed and Sayfollah were employed together at their family's ice cream business based in Florida.
No indictments occurred for the cousin's murder.
"We expect US authorities to safeguard our relatives," Mr Kadur said.
